Qualia Fishing Reels

Dependable, Extreme Fishing Reels

Quality Is In Our Name

Qualia reels are designed by the Qualia staff to produce a very high quality reel at a competitive price. The Qualia staff have been granted over 35 patents on their reels and continue to provide new models to their fishing reel line based upon feedback from the fishing community. The founder, Jack Young, spent 43 years designing and building fishing reel components for other companies, including Abu Garcia, Penn, Zebco, Shakespeare, Avet, Okuma, and others.

When Leon Kass took over the company in 2016, he helped design 5 new models of reels to the line including the Q14WAM for the sailfish and king fish anglers, the Q50-2 and Q80-2 for the deep drop and big fish group.
